Warranty

Craftsmanship is really important to us so we build every pedal with the greatest care & attention to detail. We're only human though, so if there ever is a defect in workmanship in one of our pedals we cover it with a limited lifetime warranty (for as long as we are in business). Please note modifying your pedal, interfering with its internal components (leave those trim pots alone) or having anyone other than Forest Effects repair your pedal will void the warranty. Proof of purchase is required.

Things we don't cover:

Broken knobs (not sure how you even could, they're made of solid aluminium), pots, switches & jacks due to abuse. Any other defect that's clearly caused by misuse of the pedal. For example incorrect powering or modifying the pedal in anyway, messing around poking stuff inside the enclosure & so on. General wear & tear from normal use.

If you need to send in a pedal under the warranty:

If you need a repair under the warranty, send us a message using the general enquiry form & we'll be in touch to discuss the next steps. You pay the postage to us, then (as long as the fault was something caused by us) we'll pay the postage back.

You're responsible for making sure the pedal is well packaged & arrives to us safely.

Please note, if on inspection it is clear that the issue is caused by misuse & not a manufacturing defect the repair will be treated as a non-warranty repair (see below) or you will have the option for us to send the pedal back to you, but you will need to cover the shipping costs.

 

We don't consider minor cosmetic flaws or differences to be defects, all our pedals are hand made (even the graphics are hand printed) & some minor variation is normal.

Repairs that don't fall under the warranty.

If you've broken your pedal have no fear! We'd be happy to fix it for you. If you need a repair send us a message using the general enquiry form & we'll be in touch.

What to expect:

You'll need to cover the postage to & from us, plus a modest benching fee to cover the cost of parts & labor. 

​

Most repairs end up being fairly simple fixes so don't hesitate to ask. We can talk about whats wrong with your pedal & if we don't think it can be fixed we'll tell you before you send it.

Returns

We're confident you'll love your Forest Effects pedal! But just in case we have a 14 day return policy. All items must be in as new condition with all original packaging, buyer assumes responsibility for return postage.

Once we receive the product back we will give it the once over to check it is in as new condition with all original packaging. After we have confirmed it's condition we will issue a refund by your original payment method. Please allow 14 days for the refund to be issued. It may take longer than this to appear in your account depending on your payment providers checks.

Please note if you are returning a customisable product we may need to withhold a modest restocking fee.

If the product is not in as new condition or has missing packaging we reserve the right to offer a partial refund or refuse a refund. If we cannot offer a refund we will happily send the product back to you but you will need to cover the shipping costs.
